-A couple of weeks ago I was cleaning in preparation for Cory's graduation party when the 4'x4' mirror in my bathroom fell off the wall, hit me in the head, and shattered into millions of pieces. I gushed blood from my arms and legs, and after a trip to the ER I was left with many cuts and scrapes and probably a slight concussion. I was so lucky that it wasn't more serious and that the girls weren't in the room with me when it happened.
-Only 36 hours after the mirror incident and 4 hours before Cory's graduation I took an ambulance ride back to the ER. I was 100% positive that I was having a heart attack. I was in more pain than either of my deliveries caused me. After lots of tests it was determined that I was having an esophageal spasm and probably a panic attack on top of that. I had been so extremely stressed after the mirror incident, preparing for the party, and dealing with our Not So Fabulous Backyard Project.
-Cory graduated from college! I am so extremely proud of him. It was a long time coming, but it was worth the wait. He graduated with a 4.0 GPA from Bellevue University. His degree is Network Administration (or something like that). We were unsure about bringing the girls to the graduation ceremony, but we decided that even though they didn't completely understand what was happening, it was important for them to witness such an important part of their daddy's life. Following the ceremony we had a party with a bunch of our friends, and we had a great time.
-Playing, swimming, playing, splash parks, playing, Children's Museum, playing, CWS, playing, carnivals, playing, parades. We've been really busy and have been having a lot of fun. Here are some pictures of our fun over the last few weeks:
